Recognition of Today

          While watching “Doo Wop generation” on PBS, I realized that it was the generation just before America lost its soul. The progressive movement had been working, insidiously in the back ground since the 1920’s. Part of that movement was to change Rock And Roll to Rock. The effect of the change from Doo Wop to Mick Jagger was to wash away the morality of our youth. It is easy to trace the moral and spiritual decline that started in the sixties. these are the beginning of sorrows.

Political Correctness    

            Tolerance leads to more tolerance, to more and more tolerance, until there are no standards left. Our country was tolerant of other religions and even atheism entering into our country. We had no idea that our tolerance would lead to us loosing much of our religious freedom. This is not conjecture, this is fact. AMERICA: a country where we have homeless without shelter, children going to bed hungry, elderly going without 'needed' meds, and mentally ill without treatment -etc,etc.

They have a 'Benefit' for the people of Haiti on 12 TV stations, ships and planes lining up with food, water, tents clothes, bedding, doctors and medical supplies.

A divided country and world

Confusion in politics

          It may surprise many of you to hear that I don’t believe we have a two party political system. It is my studied opinion that we have a four party system, surrounded by a number of splinter groups. Dangers of equating dissension with hatred.

          In these times of political correctness, dissension or disagreement with the politically correct viewpoint or agenda is being used to demonize, marginalize, ostracize and eventually silence all those who refuse to walk in lock step with that agenda.  We can no longer have discussions of differing opinions based on the "gentleman's agreement" that we each have the right to "agree to disagree." Instead, now, anyone disagreeing with the PC agenda are depicted as haters, intolerant bigots, and persons who are of lower intelligence. Christians are depicted as persons who have a lack of sensitivity and  whose conscience has not yet been raised to come

into alliance with the prevalent standards of acceptable thought, which is determined by the thought police of the times.  So if you are in disagreement, you are necessarily declared to be both uncompassionate and unloving towards others.  

Example: because a Christian believes that God has said that adultery and homosexuality are sins, and they are to hate sin, the Christian then must not only hate the sin, but now also hates the sinner.  That is the exact opposite of what the Bible teaches.  Yet our secular society is demanding that we must, forget what God says about hating sin but loving the sinner; now we must, in order to be seen as loving others, according to PC standards, we must condone, accept, and celebrate the sin, as though it were both right and good.  Whoops, that which God has said was sin, is now, by mans' eraser, no longer sin.

          Why would Satan concentrate so much of his efforts on the United States? The United States is the last bastion of Christian thinking left in the world. You will notice that I didn’t say last bastion of Christianity. My reasoning is that there is so little true, biblical Christianity, left in the United States that we probably can’t reasonably call ours a Christian nation any more. All of Europe is in its post Christian phase. The rest of the world has succumbed to one pagan religion or another, such as Islam. The United States is the last great military power left that can keep the world safe from tyranny. Therefore we can see that, realistically, the United States is the last stumbling block to Satan setting us his New World Order.

The candidate must be a natural born citizen of at least 35 years of age.  However, one girl in the class immediately started in on how unfair was the requirement to be a natural born citizen.  In short, her opinion was that this requirement prevented many capable individuals from becoming president.  

 The class was taking it in and letting her rant, and not many jaws hit the floor when she wrapped up her argument by stating, "What makes a natural 

born citizen any more qualified to lead this country than one born by C-section?"

 The BLM and Antifa movements, and the political protestors in the streets we have seen recently, are prime examples of the failure of our schools. Our President

I wasn’t going to, but I voted for Donald Trump. My first choices were Ben Carson and Carly Fiorina and I donated to both. When they faded, I switched to Cruz and Rubio. They lost my vote by the unchristian way they acted. I started hearing of Trumps anointing. There were many Christian authorities that were saying that Trump was God’s man of the hour.

          Here is the thing you need to understand my American brothers and sisters; President Donald Trump is not a Democratic or Republican or a typical politician, beholden to any donors. He is the voice of the American people and his actions shall be for the best interest of all Americans.

He will not please everyone because many in this nation have placed their own self interests ahead of the average American citizen, in order to gain or retain power, prestige, fame, fortune, control over the people and those are exactly the people you hear on the news from all sides complaining and working against Trump right now.

Who he will please are the American people regardless of race, religion, creed, he will protect the citizens and see their best interests are protected. And if he meets resistance by foes on either or both sides of the political aisle then it is up to us to get behind him and push these enemies of the free men and women of this nation aside. 

It is a simplistic concept, bring back the voice of the people, protect the people, defend all their rights, restore law and order if there is a law or regulation that is unjust repeal it, seek peaceful resolution with all our neighbors world wide and if they want war be prepared to give them hell. Put all Americans back to work, leave none behind and once we have our house and people taken care of then anything left over we can use to help others in the world. No tricks, no back room deals. period. Perhaps that is why these evil ones like Obama, the Clintons, and the rest of the establishment crowd in charge now can't understand it.

Very interesting, kinda hits the nail on the head for me. So much had been shoved down the throats of quiet middle America. It took a brash, unpolished, shoot from the hip kind of person to unapologetically fire back. Trump is a role model for morality, or even an example of good behavior. It is my opinion that his policies are more friendly and supportive for the Christian principles that I believe in. My point is that each individual has the right in America to make his own decision to vote for the one he/she believes would be more likely to stand by principles that they think would be best for the country. We often often widely differ on what the best solutions are for different issues. I believed Trump would select Supreme Court justices that would be a constitutional originalist, and in that he has not disappointed me. I believe that for a nation to remain sovereign, our borders must be protected. In that, he is striving to do so. It's what he most often supports that I believe in. I do not expect him to be perfect; perfection is in Jesus Christ and no other. Again, that's my personal belief which I do share with others, but know it is not in my power to control the response of others. You support the policies and principles that you esteem as valuable. I do also. But you and I do not have to resort to calling each other immature, less intelligent, or whatever. Our views are necessarily different because we often have different foundational beliefs. That doesn't make you or I less able to make our own decisions. Neither do we have to view one another as though one is superior and the other is an inferior ignoramus idiotic person that is surely "smarter than that" (a back door way of saying someone is dumb.) Instead, if things were normal, we SHOULD be able to express our differing views without making a personal attack. I know you on the left are going to have your own beliefs and opinions. The same with me.”[8]
          For me, the important thing in my life is not whether I am right or wrong, but whether I bring my opinions and beliefs into compliance with God's standards of what is right and wrong. I know there are plenty of times that I fail in doing that, but with God's help, I do keep striving to "have the mind of Christ." That is what I seek- to view all things, even politics, based on His standards, not my finite knowledge that is so limited by the very nature of my imperfect human state of being.
That's my personal choice. Others must be free to make their own choice.

          We have been given another chance to have our country blessed.

Are we going to join together and receive the blessings of God, or are we going to wallow in the divisions set up by the previous administrations? The Lord has provided President Trump, to lead us into the promised blessings of a nation that will humble themselves and pray. Don't let the evil in the streets turn you from the path the Lord has set our feet upon. When the Israelites went in to spy out the land, they missed the blessings because of fear. Let us not fear to do right. Let us grasp what could be the last chance for our country to receive the blessings God has for us. We can do all things in the name of Jesus. Don't let the evil in the streets overshadow your faith.

          I feel extremely fortunate to have been exposed and associated with the people of color that I have known. According to what information I can glean from the progressive movement, the people of color I have known were the only people of color who were capable of being successful on their own. My white privilege seems to be responsible for the vast majority of people of color being locked down into a life of lack and frustration. I still haven't found out who let the Dogs Out ...where's the beef ...how to get to Sesame Street ...why Dora doesn't just use Google Maps... Why do all flavors of fruit loops taste exactly the same, or how many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop? ...why eggs are packaged in a flimsy paper carton, but batteries are secured in plastic that's tough as nails, yet light bulbs too are in a flimsy carton... Ever buy scissors? You need scissors to cut into the packaging of scissors... I still don't understand why there is Braille on drive up ATM's or why "abbreviated" is such a long word; or why is there a D in 'fridge' but not in refrigerator? ...why lemon juice is made with artificial flavor yet dish washing liquid is made with real lemons ...why they sterilize the needle for lethal injections ...and, why do you have to "put your two cents in" but it's only a "penny for your thoughts?" Where's that extra penny going? ...why do "The Alphabet Song" and "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" have the same tune? ...why did you just try to sing those two previous songs?           After far too many years, our highest court, with the addition of Justices Gorsuch and Kazanaugh, has been returned to its original mandate to judge its cases by the Constitution and other defining original documents of our nation. I know that there are some, perhaps many, that think these things about me-

Angry old white man

Deplorable, miscreant

Dreg Of Society 

Disillusioned

Stupid, crap belief system

Intolerant, bigoted, unyielding, stubborn

Indoctrinated

Close minded

I would give more examples, but I don’t want to use that kind of language here.

But, Jesus just says: “thank you for standing up for me”.

I say “thank you for my Salvation”. ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

          First of all, there is a difference between becoming a Christian and living as a Christian. Humbling yourself, asking Jesus to forgive you for the sins you have committed, asking Jesus to come into your heart and become your Savior, making the promise to Him that you will do your best to live a sinless life from now on and love the brethren as yourself; this is the essence of beginning life as a Born Again Christian. Living life as a Christian, on the other hand, requires a lifetime of work. Life as a Christian requires involvement in the process of growing as a Christian.

          There are several types of “Christians”. There are those who are a little bit religious. There are those that are walking the middle of the road, with their moderate holiness. They are not very good or very bad, just medium. ‘little bit’ and ‘medium’ will get you a ticket straight to Hell. Only the righteous can enter the Kingdom Of God. Jesus said; you have to be Born Again, to see the Kingdom Of God. Now believe me, if you can’t see it, you can’t get there.

There is another thing you don’t want to be - self righteous. Self righteousness is very close to witchcraft (trying to control others with your power). It is difficult to relate to someone who is Holier Than Thou, because they are so filled with their own Holiness that they can’t recognize yours. This was the problem with most of the  Pharisees in Jesus day. They were the most learned people of the day, but they were unable to recognize God standing in front of them, because they were so full of their own righteousness that they couldn’t see the light because of their darkness.

Yeah, though I walk, daily, through the Valley of the Shadow if Death, I fear no evil, because my Fear of the Lord is greater. (fear of the Lord here means respect and trust in).

          The question now is, are we going to sit quietly in the pews, or are we going to do our fair share of the work of the Lord? 45 million Christians failed to vote, in the last election of 2016.
