CITY MOUSE VERSUS COUNTRY MOUSE

Since the beginning, perhaps since the beginning of the civilization, those who are huddled up in the cities (especially big cities) have not understood those who live outside of city life. The Aesop fable about the town mouse and the city mouse is known all over the world[1]. What is not understood is usually looked down on and causes fear. It is a well known fact that, in this country, northerners look down on southerners as not as smart and less educated. The city dwellers look down on the country folk for the same perceived reasons.           ...

Post 2016 US Election Thoughts

This writing will necessarily contain my opinions about certain aspects of the election 2016, and it's aftermath. Some of what is presented is from other peoples opinions. It should be fairly easy to distinguish the difference between opinion and provable fact.           According to Donald Trump, he ran for president because he was concerned about and wanted to help the people of the United States. THE TICKET THAT JUST KEEPS ON GIVING

I heard a song that described life as a train trip which begins when you’re born and ends when you die.  In other words, the whole trip was rather depressing, for life never really had any purpose, was without design, had no lasting effect, and ended abruptly at some desolate dumping off ground of none existence.  Like a blip in time, the life that once was, was ended as quickly as it began, like a blade of grass that springs up, withers and dies.  According to that song, each traveler on this train dies, and his whole life’s journey was in vain.  What a sad and awful thought!  It brings to my mind the title of another song, “Is...

Was The 2016 Election A Revolution?

What is a revolution? It is essentially a demand for change. In this election I believe the American people were in a battle between good and evil. The evil, in this instance is the progressive movement that started in the Wilson administration. The last eight years have been marred by the administration of Barack Obama. His blatant disregard for the Christian nation that we are, and the Constitution we revere, has been more than evident throughout his administration. He has been the most anti-Christian and anti-Israel president in...
